    Excellent idea. I get my competition information from the NC Pork Council (they are very helpful and willing to share).&nbsp; Do you have a contact/web address&nbsp;for the KCBS competitions? And we can update this site every day (hourly). I do have an 'admin' area for approving the competitions that are submitted from visitors to appear on the ...

    Yep, good info is a definitely a key!&nbsp; Next time you all cook a pig, tell otheres what you did, how it turned out, what you will do different/same, etc. Or remember about the last one you did and post the results. Funny you mentioned the competition...this is something I have been thinking of. If nothing else to start, invite all together for

    Look at the bright side...you can only place better next time :) Seriously though, next competition it may be the exact opposite - wood smoke rules and sauce only to compliment the meat.&nbsp; Never know from judging to judging.     Good luck corndog!!! Competitions are a beast all their own.&nbsp; I learned soooo much from my first competition.You can learn alot from the experienced competition cooks...many of them are happy to help and give advice. Take their advice and learn for the next one! I know they helped me. When is the competition?&nbsp; One of the articles I want
